Tirana Medical is not a clinic. It is a consulting service that helps patients navigate partner clinics in Albania according to their specific case. This policy explains which data we collect through the website and our communications, including WhatsApp, email, phone and forms, and how we process it.
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
We use your data to respond to requests for information or consultation, assess your case and connect you with the most suitable partner clinic, organise Open Days or appointments, and comply with accounting or legal obligations where applicable. If you accept the Analytics category, we also use browsing data to produce website usage statistics through Google Analytics 4. We do not use your data for marketing without your specific, separate consent.
We process your contact details to take pre-contractual steps requested by you under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, for example when you request a quote or consultation. Health data are processed only with your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting us. Data collected through Google Analytics 4 are processed only after consent given through the cookie banner under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time from the cookie settings.
To provide the consultation, we share information about your case, never more than necessary, with the partner clinic that we believe is most suitable for your situation, and only after identifying the clinic that may be able to support you. Partner clinics are located in Albania, outside the European Union. The transfer of your data to Albania therefore takes place on the basis of your explicit and informed consent, which we request before proceeding. We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. If you allow Analytics, Google acts as the measurement service provider under its own terms and privacy information; further details are available in our Cookie Policy.
We retain your data for as long as necessary to manage your request and, if you become a patient of a partner clinic, for the duration of the treatment journey and any period required by legal or accounting obligations. If you do not proceed with a clinic, your data are retained for a reasonable period so that we can respond if you wish to resume contact, and they may be deleted at any time upon request.
At any time, you may ask us to access the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent at any time, for example consent to send your health data to a clinic, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. To exercise these rights, email info@tirana-medical.com. If you believe that the processing of your data breaches applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or improper disclosure. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through unprotected channels if you have concerns about confidentiality.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page. Any material changes will be highlighted on the website.
