HAIR TRANSPLANT GUIDE

Hair transplant in Albania: how to choose a clinic

A transplant should not be judged by the highest graft number promised. Quality starts with diagnosis, donor management, hairline design and knowing who actually performs the surgical steps.

01

Diagnosis comes before graft numbers

A transplant moves hair; it does not stop the underlying loss of native hair. First clarify the type and pattern of hair loss and whether it is stable or still progressing.

02

The donor area is limited

Donor grafts are not unlimited. Overharvesting or taking hair from unsafe areas can thin the donor and reduce future options.

03

Ask who actually performs the surgical steps

Ask who designs the hairline, who creates recipient sites and who extracts grafts. Do not stop at the doctor’s photo on the website: know who will work on your scalp.

The donor area must be protected, not depleted

An aggressive number can sound like value, but your donor area has to last a lifetime. A smart plan uses what is needed and preserves options for the future.

04

Naturalness depends on design, not only density

Angles, direction, graft distribution and single-hair grafts at the front matter. A hairline that is too low or too dense today may be difficult to maintain if native hair keeps thinning.

05

5 questions before choosing the clinic

What is the diagnosis of my hair loss?

How many grafts are proposed and where will they come from?

Who personally performs the surgical steps?

How was my hairline designed?

What is the plan if native hair continues to thin?

A good clinic should not deplete today the donor area you may need tomorrow

A clinic should not simply fill an area today. It should diagnose hair loss, protect the donor area, design a sustainable hairline and tell you who performs each step. A good transplant also considers how your hair may change over the years.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Are you considering a hair transplant?

You can request an assessment even if you do not yet have a quote. If you are starting from zero, we begin with the first details about your case. If you have photos and a quote, we can help you read the diagnosis, proposed grafts, donor area, hairline, technique and who will perform the different steps.

Request an assessment

This guide is for general information and does not replace a medical assessment. The cause of hair loss, suitability for surgery and the transplant plan must be assessed individually.
