Dentist in Albania: how to choose a safe clinic
A safe clinic is not identified by the reception or the lowest price. Check how diagnosis is made, who treats you, what materials are used, how the final prosthesis is made and what happens after you return home.

Start with diagnosis
For major treatment, the clinic should assess medical history, examination and radiographs. Complex implant cases may require CBCT.
Before the quote is final, it should be clear which teeth can be kept, how much bone is available and what treatment is actually needed.
Two different plans do not automatically mean one is wrong
Two clinics may reasonably suggest different plans. Ask which findings support each plan and which alternatives were considered.
Ask who will actually treat you
Know the surgeon’s name and role. For complex cases, ask about experience with grafting, sinus procedures or advanced implants when relevant.
A good implant brand does not compensate for poor placement.

Know what will be placed and what will be built
Ask for implant brand and line, prosthetic material and laboratory. Keep implant documentation after treatment.
The final teeth matter as much as the implants underneath them.
Understand aftercare before booking
Know who to contact, what controls are required, what the warranty covers and what happens if you need an adjustment after returning home.
If another trip is required, ask what costs are covered.
A good quote should make it clear what will be done and why
By the end you should know what will be done, why, by whom, with which materials, in how many stages and what happens if the plan changes.
If those answers are unclear, the price alone is not enough to make a safe decision.
Before choosing, make sure these points are clear
A serious proposal should make you understand the diagnosis, who will treat you, what will be used, how the final prosthesis will be made and what happens after you return home. When these points are clear, you can truly compare clinics.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Choosing a clinic and want to know what to check?
You can request an assessment even if you do not yet have scans or quotes. If you are starting from zero, we tell you which information is useful to begin with. If you have a quote or panoramic X-ray, we can help you check whether the plan is complete, what information is missing and which questions are worth asking before booking.
Request an assessment →General information only: it does not replace diagnosis, examination or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
